Hello!

My name is Marianne and this is my first blogg ever. I have been thinking about doing this for a very long time. I have so many interesting experiences and life lessons. Some are good, some are fantastic, some are tragic and some are sad, however I would not change a thing. Some of my friends suggested that I make a movie or write a book or start a blogg. I am not sure if anyone will find my events interesting or even worthy of reading but I have decided to do it so here I am.

I will be 50 in July and I feel 35. I am not sure if I look 35 but that is how I feel and "therefore it is." I have two children, a son who just turned 14 and a daughter who is 19. She tells everyone she is 20 and at one point I found myself telling people that I have a 14 year old son and a 20 year old daughter. What the heck! I got that straightened out and now she is 19 again and will be until August of this year. I own my own business and have for the past 10 years. For the past 4 years I have worked out of my home and I love it. I wish I had done it sooner but hey, I am doing it now and that is what counts. I have been married for nearly 24 years and my husband is my best friend. I have been playing hockey for a little over a year and what can I say, I love watching hockey, I love watching my son playing hockey and I love playing hockey myself. Good thing my husband loves hockey too. My daughter "likes" hockey but we are working on changing that. So, to all hockey fans - play on!

I am very proud of my daughter Kira Lynn who is a professional actress and a model and my son RC who is a goalie and has recently joined a Bantam AA team for the summer.

My daughter when she was in 5th grade wrote a paper about what she wanted to be when she grew up and she wanted to be a model and an actress. Don't they all! I encouraged her live her dream while her dad wanted her to pursue a volleyball career. She could have played volleyball if she wanted to but it was his dream not hers. She hounded me constantly until I finally found a way to get her into an agency. She was signed with an agent at 13. She graduated high school at 16 to follow her dream. When she first signed up with the agency it was slow to start and this is where our story begins... about Kira Lynn...
